Close family relatives to the godfather of southwest politics have begun long prayers sessions and fasting over the deteriorating health of Alhaji Bola Tinubu – who was flown to a medical facility in London for treatment last week – following what many believe was a massive stroke.
According to a source who claims to be knowledgeable of the Tinubu family, the health of the All Progressive Congress [APC] may have been worsened by a recent discovery of cancer. The cancer, he claims, had reached advanced stage before it was diagnosed by the medical team. The recent stroke only added to the seriousness of the situation.
As learnt, Tinubu in his current state has not been able to recognize close family relatives who had come to pay him a visit. One of the source who related his experience indicated that Tinubu was exhibiting symptoms of dementia.
